What account services can I do online?
There are a variety of self-service features available to you through Internet banking. You can:
- Reorder checks.
- Request a stop payment on specific checks.
- Order copies of checks.
- Order copies of account statements.
- Change your address.
- Request a balance transfer for your Bank of America personal credit card.
- Create nicknames for your checking and savings accounts.
You can access these services from the Customer Service page within Online Banking.

How do I change my passcode?
You can change your passcode at any time simply by clicking Create a new passcode now or from the Bank of America home page. You also can change your passcode from the Customer Service tab in Online Banking.

Can I view my paper account statement online?
Yes. For eligible accounts, Bank of America automatically provides an electronic version of current and past paper account statements through Online Banking. These online statements are an electronic version of the paper statements that are sent in the mail. In addition to viewing them, you can download them, save them or print them at your convenience. Eligible accounts include all Bank of America consumer checking accounts, as well as any other accounts that are part of a combined statement today.
In addition, you can save paper and avoid messy filing by requesting that we stop mailing your paper statement. Simply go to the Customer Service tab after you sign in to Online Banking and click the Stop/Resume mailing your paper statements link. We will send you an e-mail every month reminding you that your statement is available for viewing online. Lastly, if there are changes to account terms and conditions or other legal notifications, they will also be presented online, along with your account statements. You can always resume delivery of your paper statements at a later date, if you desire, by calling Customer Service or by going to the Customer Service page within Online Banking and clicking the Stop/Resume mailing your paper statements link.

Can I stop delivery of the paper account statement I receive in the mail today from Bank of America?
Yes. For eligible accounts, Bank of America makes it possible for you to stop receiving paper statements in the mail, so that you can avoid messy filing and conserve our natural resources. You'll get all the same information that you get today in your paper statements. Promotional materials will not be included.
To stop delivery of the paper statements you receive in the mail, sign in to Online Banking, click the Customer Service tab, then click the Stop/Resume mailing your paper statements link. If you choose to stop the delivery of paper statements, we will send you an e-mail every month reminding you that your statement is available for viewing online. You can always resume delivery of your paper statements at a later date, if you desire, by calling Customer Service or by going to the Customer Service page within Online Banking and clicking the Stop/Resume mailing your paper statements link.

How do I contact Bank of America with a question?
For questions surrounding your accounts or requesting account services, you can send and receive secure mail using Online Banking. Select Mail within the Online Banking service, at the top or bottom of each screen. You will receive a response within 24 hours.

Can I set-up online alerts or notifications related to my checking account?
Yes, online alerts can be set up to notify you of important events related to your checking account. For example, you can set up an alert that notifies you via e-mail that a direct deposit has been made to your account or that your account balance has dropped below a particular amount. To set up these alerts, sign in to Online Banking, select the Customer Service page and then select the Manage Alerts link.
